Sarah Truscott Architect provided architectural and interior design consulting services for the owners of this Blue Mountains cottage, Finches Rest. The weatherboard renovation, including a small extension to the front of the home, have greatly improved the solar access of the cottage year round and resolved pre-existing point of address issues to the front and side streets.

Double glazing, high levels of insulation, and increased northern light to the interiors mean the home now performs with far greater efficiency than was originally possible.
